But calligraphy has always had a place in my life since I learned this beautiful dance of the pen to work on my own wedding envelopes. As an artist, that urge to create is deep. As a calligrapher, the application of calligraphy has partnered with this creative endeavor. I enjoy using my skills to add a decorative element to an occasion or an item.
